Brief Project Description
At the beginning of the project, EPIC presented an initial challenge of not getting enough incoming leads as a result of an exhausted rolodex. They initially expressed a need for a new website, but the underlying objective was to grow beyond their founder’s network and attract new clients.
This led to a creation of an overall brand message that is reflected in all of the company’s marketing touch points.
How we solved it
At army8, projects begin with a thorough look at the client’s business environment. Using our executive team’s years of entrepreneurial experience, we dig deeper into the information clients presented to us during our introductory call and from there extract pertinent information such as customer personas, current marketing activities, and client objectives. We then use this to analyze how these factors contributed to the problem presented by the client.
This discovery then resulted in several exhaustive strategy sessions with the army8 and EPIC executive teams spending hours going through essential information in order to determine the best way to share their story and determine their differentiators. These strategy sessions also serve as a guided executive consultation. As army8 Founder Nathan McKelvey notes, “Most of the entrepreneurs know their business but can’t articulate brand messaging, core focus, differentiators. The goal of our strategy session is to get to know the business and find the answers to the factors above.”
Comprehensive Marketing Tactics
Once the messaging was established, our team then developed a comprehensive tactic strategy that best answered the question, “what is the best way to deliver this message?” A thorough review of their customer profiles led us to identify that producing informative videos that speak about EPIC’s culture, differentiators, and vision from the perspective of their founder and executive team is the best way to tell their story.
